Spokane Youth Lacrosse

Spokane Youth Lacrosse Spokane Youth Lacrosse (SYL) offers youth lacrosse in Spokane, WA. We support grades K-8 for boys and grades 2-8 for girls. Neighborhood based teams.

SYL was founded by lacrosse players, people who are passionate about the game, and know the sport inside and out. As such, we emphasize not only the quality of our program but player safety, skills, sportsmanship, and fun. We are dedicated to passing on our knowledge of the sport and developing the lacrosse community in the Pacific Northwest. We offer the following:

US Lacrosse certified coaches.

Every year we have our coaches trained in a US Lacrosse sponsored program. US Lacrosse certified officials – the same applies to our officials; we are the only organization to provide US lacrosse training for our officials. Our experienced coaching staff is made up of responsible adults. We sponsor and help organize area high school teams so that our players can continue their lacrosse experience after graduating from our program. We are the only organization in the Spokane area to do so. Lacrosse is the fastest growing sport in the US. Are you interested? Come be a part of this phenomenal trend.

Hello Lacrosse Families,

We are excited to invite you to be part of a big moment for lacrosse in the Inland Northwest!

The North Idaho White Pines Senior B Box Lacrosse team will be taking the floor for our first-ever home games against the Boise Bighorns, and we would love to see the youth lacrosse community come together to support the growth of the game.

Our roster is built from players throughout the region, including athletes from Sandpoint, Coeur d’Alene, Spokane, and surrounding communities. These are players and coaches who grew up playing, coaching, and building lacrosse right here in the Inland Northwest.

If you’ve never experienced box lacrosse, it’s one of the fastest and most exciting versions of the sport — quick transitions, physical play, incredible skill, and nonstop action. It’s a great opportunity for young players to see the next level of lacrosse happening close to home.

🥍 Summer Lacrosse Fun! ☀️

Looking for the perfect way to wrap up the summer? Whether your player is picking up a stick for the first time or looking to sharpen her skills before the next school year, our Girl’s Summer Camp is the place to be!

Here are the fast facts:

👥 Who: Open to girls from Kindergarten through current 8th grade (all skill levels welcome!).

📅 When: August 17th – 19th

⏰ Time: 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM

📍 Where: Dwight Merkel Sports Complex

Expect tons of energy, skill-building drills, and plenty of fun scrimmages. Grab your cleats, bring plenty of water, and let's hit the field! 🎒✨
