Earth Matters Now

Earth Matters Now Earth Matters Now! Message about Earth Matters Now! The first Earth Matters Now show aired on March 2, 2004 with me and Stephanie Smith as hosts. Mike Petersen

began as a way to inform our community about environmental issues locally, nationally, and internationally for the advocacy of Earth and all of its inhabitants. KYRS was a low-power community radio station then. Later Argyle Baukol replaced Stephanie, and when Arglye moved to Seattle, Laura Ackerman joined the show in May 2012 as my co-host. Together Laura and I have 50 years of environmental acti

vism and advocacy. My goal in starting the show was to provide local, national,
international environmental and earth science news, with the emphasis on the local. Please join us for news, commentary and a little bit of fun that you
will hear no where else every Tuesday at Noon on 88.1 and 92.3 FM or
streaming live at www.kyrs.org. And support commercial and
corporate-free radio by supporting KYRS - now a full-power radio station thanks to you, the listener.
