Women's Healing & Empowerment Network - WHEN Helping Empower Abused Lives

It is our vision that individuals accessing the programs and services offered and supported by WHEN will:
Discover their value to God;
Recover from dysfunctional thoughts, feelings and behaviors that predispose them to being abused or abusive;
Experience wholeness, healing, and renewal;
Grow physically, mentally, spiritually, emotionally, and socially;
Become positive role models for future generations;
Become advocates in promoting and maintaining healthy family systems and help prevent the intergenerational cycle of abuse.

💜 WHEN: Reaching Beyond Our Walls to Bring Hope to Our Community!

At WHEN — Women’s Healing & Empowerment Network, we believe something powerful happens when organizations come together with a shared purpose: to encourage, empower, and bring healing to our community. 💜

That’s why we believe in supporting and celebrating other nonprofits that are making a difference!

We’re excited to share that our very own Barb Frigaard will be speaking at EMPOWER 509 — Women’s Empowerment and Resource Fair on Saturday, October 24, at 2 PM at the Spokane Public Library!

Barb is a dynamic speaker with an incredible testimony, and she’ll be sharing about “Life After Abuse.” Her story of overcoming, healing, and finding hope is one that can encourage others who may be walking a difficult road of their own.

When nonprofits support one another, we create stronger connections, reach more people, and help bring hope to those who need it most. We’re grateful for opportunities like this to stand alongside others who are working to make our community a better place!

When starting a new relationship, it’s important to recognize the warning signs and red flags early. 🚩 Controlling behavior, jealousy, manipulation, and disrespect are not signs of love.

💕 Healthy relationships are built on respect, trust, kindness, and safety.

Let’s empower our young people with the knowledge and confidence to recognize unhealthy behaviors and build relationships rooted in respect.
