It is our vision that individuals accessing the programs and services offered and supported by WHEN will:
Discover their value to God;
Recover from dysfunctional thoughts, feelings and behaviors that predispose them to being abused or abusive;
Experience wholeness, healing, and renewal;
Grow physically, mentally, spiritually, emotionally, and socially;
Become positive role models for future genera

We are grateful for the opportunity to share our commitment to healing and empowering people faced with domestic violence and abuse.

The Women’s Healing and Empowerment Network (WHEN) is a first-line response to end violence.

Thanks to Sonshine Northwest, our volunteers shared our message during a free health clinic. Sonshine Northwest is a volunteer-led nonprofit that offers free medical, dental, vision, therapy, and healthy-living services to anyone who attends the annual event.

Attendees appreciated our approach to healing and empowering through education, counseling, healing centers, resources, and other support services.

It’s the first time WHEN participated in the massive, multi-day community clinic. We can’t wait to return!

We’re excited to spread our mission at the Shine 104.9 / KEEH Listener Appreciation Concert.

The Women’s Healing and Empowerment Network (WHEN) will have a booth at the August 7 event in the Lilac Bowl and Riverfront Park.

WHEN works to heal and empower people faced with domestic violence and abuse.

The Worship in the Park Concert - ShineFest – starts at 5 p.m. Friday, August 7.

The concert features local artists, non-profit booths, kids' activities, food vendors, along with bands you hear on the radio: The Afters, Terrian, and headliner Colton Dixon.

WHEN proudly sponsored the vibrant evening of connection, fun, and purpose.

We were grateful for the chance to share with our neighbors, friends, and families through free barbecue and another amazing Amazon giveaway!

Thanks to the West Plains Safety Alliance (WSPA) for coordinating Cops, Kids & Cruisers.

WSPA has been a powerful force for good, bringing together law enforcement, community leaders, and generous sponsors to uplift families and children across our region.

We are already planning next year’s event as we rise together to face challenges.

Volunteers at Women Healing and Empowerment Network (WHEN) are getting ready for Saturday’s Cops, Kids & Cruisers event!

The fun runs from 5 to 8 p.m. at Sunset Park.

Be sure to join us for a vibrant evening of connection, fun, and purpose.

WHEN is a proud sponsor and is running an Amazon giveaway and Barbecue!

You can tour police cruisers, check out a classic car show, participate in kid-friendly games, and make new friends.

Organizers are not charging admission, but all donations will go to the West Plains Safety Alliance. WSPA has been a powerful force for good, bringing together law enforcement, community leaders, and generous sponsors to uplift families and children across our region.
