We were dispatched to person that fell 30 feet in the Stevens Creek Conservation area, near the Rocks of Sharon. The response required paramedic engine companies, UTV and a battalion chief. The patient was assessed by paramedics and transported down the trail system to a waiting ambulance.
It is calls like these that show the importance of specialized equipment staffed with firefighters that have technical training to lead to successful outcomes.
