The Salvation Army Spokane is partnering with Shine104.9 for a worship event called-

Unplugged 🔌

As the seasons change, it’s the perfect time to slow down and refocus. Unplug from the noise of the world and take a couple of hours to enjoy live acoustic music, a message from Shine 104.9’s Chaplain TK, and group prayer.

❤️ What a wonderful way to end the week - reflecting on the incredible impact our community made together!

This Wednesday, The Salvation Army Spokane hosted our second Drive-Through Distribution, coming alongside our neighbors who lost their homes in the Spokane Complex Fire, as well as individuals and families facing difficult circumstances.

Because of the generosity and dedication of our community, we were able to provide essential supplies to an estimated 750 households, including:

📦 750 boxes of food
🧼 3,000 hygiene items
👶 450 boxes of diapers
💧 200 cases of water
🎒 Backpacks and other much-needed supplies

But these numbers represent so much more than boxes and supplies.

Every car that came through represented a neighbor, a family, or an individual who needed a helping hand, and our community showed up.

We are incredibly grateful to the staff, volunteers, donors, and community partners who made this distribution possible. Your generosity is helping our neighbors feel supported, cared for, and reminded that they are not alone.

750 households. Thousands of essential items. One community showing up for one another. ❤️

That’s something worth feeling good about this Friday!

🎒 What an incredible Back-to-School event!

On Saturday, August 29, The Salvation Army Spokane partnered with Fred Meyer on Sullivan Road to provide new school clothing and shoes for 98 local students.

Thank you to Fred Meyer, its team members and every volunteer who helped make this joyful day possible. Together, we helped 98 students begin the school year feeling confident, prepared and supported by their community! ❤️
