Do you do any dog events with your dogs? Racing, lure coursing, fast cats, open field, hunting/hunting tests, barn hunt... the list goes on... Congress is seeking to eliminate them! People cheered when Greyhound racing establishments were shut down, but that was just the beginning of the avalanche and now this verbiage could be the start of the end of events with our dogs.

Please go to this link and submit the formal letter, or write your own. Let them know this bill is not supported. I certainly did.

5 Golden Retrievers took a Canine Good Citizen Urban test and all 5 Goldens passed! Congratulations to Mindy & Gamora, Linda & Valley, Brittney & Bentley, Chris F & Stevi, and Christy & Dawn.

Bobbi Eller lived in Spokane for a long time and was a member of our club while her daughters were growing up. We lost a great club member when her husband was transferred. For quite a while they still had a summer place in our area and I would run into her from time to time.

Just got word that Bobbi Roberta Eller passed away over the weekend. Bobbi Eller
An animal lover and activist all her life. Proud of her Jewish Heritage, her family, and her animals. She worked for the Jewish News, for GRCA newsletter with Sylvia helping with advertising.
She was active lifetime member of Valle Del Sol Golden Retriever Club,holding many positions from President, Vice president,Show Chair, etc.
She loved her Goldens and those of us that are into them.
She was generous, kind and caring.
She is survived by her two daughters and her grandchildren. She will be missed by her family her many, many friends.

At the Golden day at the Summer Rally Roundup, we had an unusual occurrence. Two new Rally Champions! (and we came close to having four in one day) That will never happen again!
