Saviors of Soldiers is being established to provide assistance programs for returning soldiers and injured veterans in the Greater Northwestern area. The program will create partnerships with the local businesses as well as throughout the community. Saviors of Soldiers matches qualified counselors to aid returning soldiers and provide adequate financial and adaptive services. Saviors of Soldiers will setup three distinct programs:
• PTSD/TBI Support: This is the central program of Saviors of Soldiers. At risk returning soldiers and veterans participate in a structured program of support to achieve confidence in the future.
• Financial Assistance: Financial assistance focuses on providing essential money for bills due to the soldiers’ current displacement due to healing from combat related injuries.
• Adaptive Housing and Transportation: Adaptive housing and transportation engages the veterans who have sustained amputation with home and vehicle modifications.
