New Developed Nations New Developed Nations (NDN) is a drug and alcohol prevention/rehabilitation/aftercare program that utilizes music & other expressive arts to empower youth.

New Developed Nations (NDN) is an innovative program that incorporates music as a form of therapy in a way that has never been utilized before. From lyric writing sessions, music production and poetry, NDN strives to empower individuals by providing a safe and comfortable zone for clients to tell their story in a fun and exciting manner chosen by each individual. All genres of music are available

as well as journaling and creative writing. The results have been astonishing in the inpatient treatment facility model since 2010, dropping relapse rates to 20% (national average is 50%-80%) leading to a number of national awards and keynote presentations around the country. Workshops and consultations will be available.

Update: This is something that doesn’t happen often in behavioral health:
A homegrown therapeutic model, built on the Rez, shaped by real youth, real struggle, and real culture, has now become the first Hip Hop based behavioral health Evidence-Based Practice recognized by any state in the U.S.
It proves that innovation doesn’t always come from the usual places.

It would be great for local musicians to come share your talents, teach some kids in our community and be able to see some of the work we do to help our families come together and thrive. We found out a couple of our artists have skills on the 1’s & 2’s…. let the kids scratch and showed them some chirping techniques on this fine Friday. We should make this a weekly event…. 🤔
