🚨 Final Week to Help Local Families! 🚨
​We are down to the final days of our Bedding Drive hosted by our amazing friends at Black Goat Fitness Spokane
​If you’ve been meaning to drop off donations, now is the time. The drive officially wraps up on Saturday, August 22nd.

​Due to the recent local fires, the need in our community is greater than ever. Children and families impacted by the fires who are rebuilding their lives from scratch, can rest easy knowing that SHP is here for them. We are ready to bring their kids brand new complete beds. A fresh set of sheets and a clean pillow bring so much more than comfort—they bring dignity and a sense of home when it's needed most.

🪚 32 BEDS DELIVERED, 16 BUILT IN ONE DAY?!

Talk about a dream team!
​Today was absolute magic for the Spokane Chapter of Sleep in Heavenly Peace. The fantastic crew from the Spokane Shadle North Lions Club took over the workshop and built the beds, while another powerhouse team of volunteers loaded up the trucks and delivered 32 brand-new beds to kiddos in our community—all in a single day! 🚚✨

​Adding to this epic day was another HUGE MILESTONE:
Among those 32 deliveries was an extra special history in the making delivery: Officially we delivered our 900th bed since our chapter first started back in 2018!
​That’s 900+ kids who went from sleeping on couches, blankets, or cold floors to having a warm, cozy place of their own to dream big. We couldn’t have reached this milestone without the sawdust, sweat, and miles logged by our incredible volunteers and dedicated partners like the Lions Club.
​By the Numbers Today:
​16 brand new Beds Built powered by the Lions Club Members
​1 Unstoppable Delivery Crew that consisted of 16 volunteers
​32 Happy Kids with New beautiful beds
​922 Total Beds Delivered Since 2018

​We are partnering with Black Goat Fitness Spokane to help local families impacted by the recent wildfires. From now through August 22nd, Black Goat Fitness is hosting a bedding drive in support of kids and families in need of a comfortable, safe place to sleep as they recover and rebuild.

Much needed bedding drive thanks to Black Goat Fitness Spokane 🛌 🛌 🛏 🛌 🛏

​Black Goat Fitness is partnering with our chapter to ensure no child in our community has to sleep on the floor. We have the bed frames built, we have mattresses on hand, but we urgently need your help supplying the bedding to go with.
​We are asking this great community to please help us with new and unused items:

​Twin Comforters & Blankets
Handmade quilts and throw blankets
​Standard Pillows
​A single sheet set or pillow gives a child the comfort, warmth, and dignity they deserve. If you have the means, please consider dropping off a donation or placing purchaesed bedding items in the SHP donation bins. Every single item goes directly to a child in need.

At Black Goat Fitness, we believe fitness is about more than improving ourselves—it's about serving our community and doing good.

Our community has been tested. Wildfires have forced families from their homes, and too many kids have been left without a safe, comfortable place to sleep. We want to help change that.

From now through our HYROX Race Sim on August 22, we're partnering with Sleep in Heavenly Peace – Spokane to help ensure that no child has to sleep on the floor.

Sleep in Heavenly Peace is a nonprofit that builds and delivers complete twin beds to children and families in need. Every bed includes a frame, mattress, pillow, sheets, and bedding—giving a child a safe, comfortable place to rest.

We are collecting NEW, UNUSED items, including:

Twin-size Bed in a Bag sets (4- or 5-piece)
Twin comforters
Twin sheet sets
Handmade quilts or throw blankets
Standard-size pillows

​Seeing those smiles makes every delivery worth it, but to keep our momentum going, we are in urgent need of twin-sized bedding (brand new twin sheets, comforters/quilts, and pillows).

NO CHILD SLEEPS ON THE FLOOR IN OUR TOWN!

​Tonight, 8 local children are getting the sleep they truly deserve.

​Before this afternoon, these kids were sleeping on worn-out, falling-apart mattresses—some even with holes in them. But thanks to our amazing community, volunteers, and donors, all 8 of them will rest their heads tonight in brand-new, comfortable beds with brand new bedding and pillows to go with thanks to members of Life Center who provided us with beddingto keep our mission going strong. 🛌✨
​Spokane community: Our hearts are with everyone impacted by the recent fires. Anyone reading this post that knows of a family displaced by the fires. PLEASE let them know we are here and we have inventory ready to help the need for beds for their children during this difficult time. ​On Saturday, August 15th, you have the power to change 35 children's lives. We’re delivering and setting up 35 brand-new, comfortable beds for kids in our community who are currently sleeping on floors, piles of blankets, air mattresses or couches.
​When you volunteer for a delivery day, you aren't just moving wood and mattresses—you're carrying hope, dignity, and a good night's sleep directly into a child's bedroom. You get to build the bed, lay down the fresh sheets, and watch a child's face light up with pure joy.
​Whether you have a truck to help transport beds, or simply a willing heart and a pair of hands to put them together, we need you.
