Youth Educational Services Providing safe group homes for children/teens with developmental disabilities since 1999. We work with DCYF and DDA as our clients are from both.

Each client under our care receives treatment plans tailored to their needs and goals. FAQ

What are the requirements to work at Youth Educational Services?
* Be of the age of 21*
*Pass a state and federal background check*
*Have a drivers license*
*Have 1 year of experience working with children*

What is considered as experience working with children? This can be experience in a work/professiona

l setting that we can verify. The verification can be a simple letter. These settings can be camps, clubs, YMCA, church/youth groups, work, etc. What if I do not have the experience working with children? We can wave the experience requirement if you have 2 years of education related to the field. This would include sociology, early learning development, and psychology courses. What age group will I work with? ages 6-21

What are responsibilities while working at Youth Ed?
*Provide basic care for the clients*
*Work on objectives outlined in various treatment plans*
*Provide safety and supervision*
*Administer medications*
*Prepare meals according to the house/facility menu*
*Basic house upkeep duties*
*Helping clients get acclimated into the community*

How many staff will I work with on shift?
2-3 staff
