Spokane Public Schools Foundation ARCHIVED PAGE | This page is no longer actively updated.

Follow our new official Spokane Public Schools Foundation - SPSF page for the latest from Spokane Public Schools Foundation. The Spokane Public Schools Foundation was founded in 2006 by local public education supporters like you — parents, alumni, business leaders, school district retirees, and members of the community — who understood the value of a strong public school system. The sole purpose of the Foundation is to provide smaller ($200 – $1,000) grants to teachers and the local school community through a streamlined application process. This allows educators to engage their students in activities and programs they may not have otherwise had access to due to budgetary constraints within the general education fund of the school district.

☕️ Your Dutch Bros run tomorrow can help support local families affected by the Spokane Complex fires. ❤️

This Friday, August 14, for every drink sold at participating Spokane-area Dutch Bros locations, the Dutch Bros Foundation will donate $1 to the Spokane Complex Wildfire Response Fund.

And it gets even better — Numerica Credit Union is matching donations up to $15,000!

Funds raised will help support local students and families impacted by the fires, including families within Spokane Public Schools.

So grab your coffee, Rebel, lemonade, or favorite Dutch Bros drink tomorrow and help us show up for our community when they need us most. 💙

A huge thank you to Dutch Bros and Numerica Credit Union for coming together to support our community!

💚💛 Shadle Nation Strong 💛💚
Your Shadle Park Boosters want our entire Shadle Park High School community to know that we are here for you. Our hearts are heavy as we grieve alongside those who have lost homes, neighborhoods, treasured belongings, and countless memories due to this devastating fire.
To every student, family, staff member, alumnus, and neighbor impacted—we are thinking of you and standing with you.
Now, we need those who are in a position to help.
We are beginning to gather essential items to support families as they rebuild their lives. If you are able to donate, we are looking for:
💚 Clothing for all ages (newborn through adults)
💛 New, packaged socks and underwear
💚 Household essentials to help families restart when they have a place to call home
💛 Toys, books, stuffed animals, and comfort items for children
💚 New or gently used shoes (all sizes)
💛 Athletic gear, including football cleats, girdles, court shoes, and other equipment for fall sports
💚 Toiletries for men, women, teens, children, and babies

We will have more information on drop off times and additional information soon. Please DM with questions.

This is what it means to be a Highlander. We are more than a school—we are a family. And when one of us hurts, we all come together.
Together, we will help our neighbors rebuild, recover, and remind them they are not alone.

💚💛
