Enrollment is point and income based system. We are located on 55th Ave of Spokane's South Hill.

Community-Minded - ECEAP prepares preschool aged children for kinder readiness, focusing on the well-being of the whole child by providing in-depth nutrition, health, education and family support services. The Community-Minded ECEAP program is funded by Community Colleges of Spokane and the Washington State Department of Child and Youth Family Services and is run by Community-Minded Enterprises. O

ur newly remodeled center offers 40 full day slots divided between two classrooms. The Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program (ECEAP) is Washington’s pre-kindergarten program preparing low-income children for success in school and in life. ECEAP focuses on the well-being of the whole child by providing in-depth nutrition, health, education, and family support services.

The Peaceful Valley Community Center has been home to some of our most important work, and we’re filled with gratitude as our time there comes to a close.
From the early days of our Recovery Café, to family play and learn groups, to the joy and energy of our ECEAP program, this small but mighty building tucked in the corner of Redband Park has been filled with connection, care, and community.
To the City of Spokane - Municipal Government, thank you for entrusting us with this space.
To the neighbors of Peaceful Valley, thank you for sharing your community with us.
And to every child, teacher, family, staff member, and supporter, thank you for believing in what’s possible when compassion leads the way.
Spaces change. New chapters begin. And as we carry our mission forward, we hold Peaceful Valley with us. Not as something behind us, but as part of the foundation that continues to shape our work.
Because we still believe, as we always have, in the power of community.

We had a special visit at our ECEAP recently! Tiny Teeth Express brought smiles and taught healthy habits to our little learners, providing dental screenings and education. 🦷✨

Thursday, September 26th is going to be a big day!

It’s Pajama Day! Send your little ones to school in their comfiest jammies.
Tiny Tooth Express, our dental exam program, will be at both locations. It’s super important to be here so students can meet their medical requirements. 🦷
Don’t forget, it’s also an early closure day—school will end at 12:30pm, so please plan to pick up your kiddos before then.

Thank you to all the families who joined us at our ECEAP Picnic today. It was wonderful to see everyone come together and celebrate.

We’re looking forward to seeing you all again in the fall! To our graduates heading off to Kindergarten, we wish you the best in your new adventure!
