This weekend, we gathered for our annual for the Healing Hearts Retreat for Bereaved Parents & Caregivers. This is a time set aside to honor the children who are deeply loved and profoundly missed, and to support the parents and caregivers who continue to carry that love forward each day.
We are incredibly grateful to Camp Good Times through the Y for once again providing a peaceful and welcoming place for connection, reflection, and healing. Their generosity helps make this meaningful weekend possible.
A special thank you to Denise, Donna , and MaryAnne for leading the retreat with such compassion, wisdom, and care. Your willingness to walk alongside these families creates space for both remembrance and hope.
To the parents and caregivers who attended, thank you for opening your hearts, sharing your stories, and allowing yourselves to connect with others who understand this difficult journey. The bonds formed during these weekends are a reminder that even in grief, no one should have to walk alone.
This weekend, the children were honored. Their names were spoken, their memories cherished, and their lives celebrated. Their parents were supported, surrounded by understanding, and reminded that their love endures.
It is an honor to provide this annual gathering. A place of peace, remembrance, and connection for families whose children will forever be part of our hearts.
