A message from our friends at ZEV Co-op
Dear Spokane and ZEV Community,
As we navigate the current emergency and ongoing evacuation orders in our region, your safety is our absolute highest priority.
ZEV Co-op currently has four vehicles stationed in our Spokane program. We want to ensure that these vehicles are mobilized to help those who need them most during this critical time.
We know that emergencies place an immense and sudden burden on families and individuals. If you need a vehicle to safely evacuate but are unable to reserve one due to financial constraints, please let us know immediately. We will provide complimentary driving time for our community members as needed.
No one should be left in a dangerous situation due to a lack of transportation funds.
How to Request Support or Access a Vehicle:
• For Emergency Complimentary Access: Please reply directly to this email or call our support line at 833-EV SHARE so we can immediately credit your account or manually book a vehicle for you.
• Vehicle Availability: You can check the real-time location and charge status of our four Spokane vehicles directly in the ZEV Co-op app.
• Coordination: If you have reserved a vehicle and have extra seats, and are comfortable helping a fellow community member evacuate, please let us know so we can help coordinate ridesharing.
Our thoughts are with everyone in Spokane right now. Please stay safe, follow the guidance of local emergency responders, and do not hesitate to reach out if ZEV Co-op can assist you in getting to safety. You are in our hearts if you have already experienced the devastating impacts of climate change driven wildfires today and the only way through is together. We are here for you.
In solidarity and safety,
Ry Armstrong
Executive Director, ZEV Co-op
