🎉 Another Pathways milestone to celebrate!

Last week, our club got to raise a (metaphorical) toast to Kevin Hendrickson, who officially completed Level 1 of his Presentation Mastery pathway! 👏

Here's what you need to know about Kevin: the man has STYLE. Every speech he's delivered has left us laughing, leaning in, and — honestly — entertained in ways we didn't see coming. He's one of those speakers you look forward to hearing from, because you never quite know what you're going to get… but you know it'll be good.

Congratulations, Kevin! Level 1 is officially in the books, and we cannot WAIT to see what you bring to Level 2. (We'd ask you to warn us, but let's be real — the surprises are half the fun.) 💜

Keep that signature flair coming — the lectern is lucky to have you. 🎤✨

🎉 Level UP!

On August 27th, our club President Simran Bhalla officially completed Level 1 of her Motivational Strategies pathway — and honestly? She's already living up to the name.

Watching Simran grow through her Pathways journey has been SUCH a joy. Every speech, every step, every moment she takes on something new — she's proving that leadership is a practice, not a destination.

To Simran: we are so proud of you. Level 1 is officially in the books, and we cannot wait to see where the next levels take you.

Keep motivating, keep strategizing, and keep leveling up! We're right here cheering you on. 🏆

40 years down. 40 more to go!

On August 13th, our club officially celebrated FOUR DECADES of Spokane Falls Toastmasters with an Open House full of familiar faces, brand new ones, and — of course — a spread of tasty snacks to fuel the fun. 🍪

A HUGE thank you to the guests who came out to celebrate this milestone with us! There's something extra special about welcoming new voices into the room on a night when we're honoring how far we've come.

To mark the occasion, three of our members offered testimonials — heartfelt tributes to what this club has meant to them:

🎤 Corinna Verdugo — "What Brought Me to Toastmasters and Why I Stay"
🎤 Wayne Rogers — "Being Heard"
🎤 Sarah Hensley — "The Discovery"

Thank you, Corinna, Wayne, and Sarah, for putting words to what 40 years of this club has built. 💜

And then came our TWO winners of the evening:

🏆 Speech Contest Winner — Simran Bhalla
🏆 Table Topics Winner — Chris Dahm (one of our guests!)

Yes, you read that right — one of our guests took home the Table Topics win. Talk about jumping right in and giving it your all! Chris, that was fantastic. 👏

Here's to another 40 years of stepping up to the lectern, finding our voices, growing together, and cheering on everyone brave enough to try.

Cheers to the next chapter, Spokane Falls Toastmasters! 🎉
