From president Ken Craudell-

Good evening
The January meeting which was postponed a week had to be moved, because I forgot to notify Round Table of the the date change. 24 hours prior to the meeting I reached out to Selkirk Pizza and Tap House and reserved their banquet room. Like Round Table, there's no charge or minimum for the room. It just needs to be reserved through a manager. At the meeting it was proposed to move the meetings to Selkirk. After discussion it was decided to have another meeting in February with the hope of larger turnout and get input from more members prior to the vote to switch.
Selkirk Pizza & Tap House is a locally-owned pizza restaurant in Spokane, Washington, known for its specialty pizzas, fresh ingredients, and local flavors, with a rustic-chic atmosphere. They offer a variety of pizzas, sandwiches, pasta, and a salad bar, along with a selection of tap brews. The restaurant is praised for its friendly staff, quality ingredients, and being a good spot for families and friends.

🚨 URGENT TRAIL UPDATE – HELP NEEDED NOW 🚨

This is exactly why we are pushing so hard to get volunteers out right now.

Yesterday, a Coeur d’Alene Snowmobile Club member started cutting 20” trees off the road beginning where the pavement ends just above Fernan Saddle—and only made it ¼ mile in a full day.

He returned today and met a camper who had been stuck since Sunday due to trees across the road. Working together, they cut out 18 trees and have now cleared approximately 1.5 miles.

Progress is possible, but it is slow, hard work. The trees are close enough together that crews can walk from tree to tree with saws and make real headway—especially with multiple teams.

If we don’t get this done now, our groomers will spend months just trying to open trails with repeated out-and-back trips instead of grooming.

Volunteer Plan – This Saturday

• Meet time: 9:00 AM

• Roll out: 9:30 AM

• Meeting locations:

◦ Bunco Parking Lot

◦ Fernan Parking Lot

◦ 4th of July Parking Lot

Bring RZRs,Jeeps, chainsaws, gloves, and manpower. This is the window before snow shuts us down.

If you can help in any capacity, please text Steven Cox at 208-620-8873 so we can plan crews and routes.

Let’s get this done now—before winter makes it ten times harder.
