While this is only my third Spokane Interstate Fair Auction, Jack and Kelly Lacher made an immediate impression on me. Their love for the fair and the support they show our youth is truly inspiring. Thank you to Tankmax Inc. and the Lacher family for your years of dedication to the Spokane Interstate Fair Youth Auction!

Jack and Kelly Lacher, owners of Tankmax, have been proud supporters of the Spokane Fair since the mid-2000s. Agriculture has always been at the heart of their lives. Jack grew up on a ranch in Montana, where he learned the value of hard work and developed a lifelong passion for farming and community involvement. Today, he and Kelly operate their own farm, raising grain, hay, and livestock while continuing to advocate for agriculture and youth Ag programs.
Through Tankmax and their personal efforts, the Lachers have dedicated years to supporting local agricultural activities, 4-H, and FFA programs, helping ensure that the next generation of farmers and ranchers can thrive. In the photo, Jack is pictured with his daughter Alayna and granddaughter Vivian. Jack and Kelly are proud parents and grandparents, and just as family is at the center of their lives, they see the agricultural community as one big family they are honored to be part of. Supporting the Spokane Fair is just one way they give back to the community and celebrate the agricultural roots that have shaped their lives.

🌟 Exhibitor Spotlight: Addison 🌟
Meet Addison, a passionate young showman who’s bringing both sheep and steer to the Spokane County Fair, but if you ask her, sheep are where her heart is. “They’re the most fun to show and take care of. I love seeing the different personalities all my lambs have!”
Though this is only her second year at the fair, Addison has already made her mark. One of her most memorable moments was at the North Idaho State Fair, where she won Grand Champion Steer in her very first year, along with Champion Breeding and Market Lamb. Her success comes from hard work and a deep love for her animals.
Addison is the founder of 48 North Livestock, a breeding business where she sells high quality sheep to 4-H and FFA members. Her future plans center on expanding that business and continuing to support the next generation of showmen. Her world revolves around livestock, and she’s always looking for ways to grow, improve, and stay competitive in the ring.
Her advice to new exhibitors:
“Work hard, be confident, and find a showman who knows what they’re doing to help you along the way.”
Addison hopes buyers understand how much time and heart go into raising these animals. “These animals are our best friends. It takes a lot of work, patience, and time to get them where they are.”
Proceeds from the sale of her market animals will go directly into 48 North Livestock, helping Addison continue to raise high-quality animals and ensure her buyers have an enjoyable, successful year with their projects.
Addison gives a huge thank you to her parents for being her biggest supporters. “My dad travels the world with me to shows, and my mom takes care of the lambs when I’m away. This isn’t a one-person sport, it takes the whole family to compete at a high level.”
Catch Addison and her animals in the ring at the 2025 Spokane County Fair, and support a rising star in agriculture! 🐑🏆💼

🌟 Exhibitor Spotlight: Kelly 🌟

Meet Kelly, a seasoned and deeply dedicated showman heading into her 10th year at the Spokane County Fair! This year, Kelly will be showing both goats and cattle, but it’s cattle that hold her heart.

“I’ve found something new in goats,” Kelly says, “but cattle will always be my roots. The bond you build with them, the way they give back the effort you put in, is something I’ll never take for granted.”

That bond was front and center during one of her most memorable moments at the fair: in 2017, just days after breaking her foot, Kelly still entered the ring to show her heifer “Sprinkles” in both the heifer show and cow/calf pair class—with a cast on and a plastic bag over her boot to keep out the shavings. Now that’s dedication.

Outside the ring, Kelly is passionate about teaching others about agriculture and giving people a new perspective on the ag lifestyle. She plans to study animal nutrition and ag business, while continuing to help run her family’s ranch. She’s also interested in animal reproduction, especially in cattle and equine.

Her advice to new exhibitors:
“Be patient, take advice, and ask questions. Everyone here wants to help you grow. Sit and watch others clip or fit—there’s always more to learn.”

A fun fact? Every steer she’s shown, she’s been able to sit on, lying down or standing up! You might also catch her off to the side, camera in hand, as she’s found a passion for livestock photography as well.

To buyers, Kelly says this:
“Every bid you place, whether you win or not, helps a kid in ag chase their dreams. You’re investing in their future, their education, and their goals.”

Funds from her animal will go toward next year’s projects, college, feed, equipment, and growing her personal herd, including pasture rent and new heifers.

Lastly, Kelly gives a heartfelt shoutout to her mom, Krystal Cordill, a tireless beef superintendent at the fair:
“Her work behind the scenes often goes unnoticed, but I see it, and I’m so grateful. She balances it all and still makes sure my brother and I are ready for show day. Thank you, Mom!” 💛

Support Kelly at the 2025 Spokane County Fair and witness firsthand the heart, grit, and talent behind the next generation of agriculture.

🌟 Exhibitor Spotlight: Aubrey 🌟

Meet Aubrey, a passionate young stockman heading into her third year of showing at the Spokane County Fair! This year, she’ll be bringing both sheep and goats to the ring—but if you ask her, sheep have her heart. 🐑💛

For Aubrey, raising and showing livestock is about more than ribbons—it's about building a bond, earning trust, and developing traits like work ethic, integrity, and grit.

One of her proudest moments? Winning Reserve Intermediate Showman her very first year at the Interstate Fair. She and her sheep were a team—and that win made her proud of both their hard work.

Aubrey’s advice for new showmen is wise beyond her years:
“Work hard, build trust with your animal, and love them fiercely. Your animal will give you everything they have if you love them big enough.”

In the barn, you’ll often find her playing music while she works—her sheep seem to love the soundtrack just as much as she does! 🎶

Aubrey is proud of the way she raises her animals—with respect, care, and intention. “When you buy from a livestock kid, you’re buying more than an animal,” she says. “You’re buying an experience, a work ethic, and a whole lot of heart.”

Proceeds from her auction animal will go toward her college savings and future ag adventures, with the dream of continuing to grow her small breeding flock and mentor younger youth in agriculture.

She shares this journey with her biggest supporters—her family, who raise livestock together and make sure Aubrey and her siblings have every opportunity to succeed.

Catch Aubrey and her animals in the ring at the 2025 Spokane County Fair, and support a young leader who's showing up with passion, purpose, and a whole lot of heart.

🌟 Exhibitor Spotlight: Case 🌟

Meet Case, a longtime exhibitor and proud steer showman at the Spokane County Fair! This year marks his 8th year in the ring, and for Case, showing cattle is more than just a project—it’s a meaningful part of who he is.

Case loves working with his steers because it’s something his whole family enjoys together, especially on weekends traveling to shows. His favorite fair memory? Showing his steer Oliver, who was born on their family ranch and placed high overall. “He had the best personality,” Case says. “It made that year really fun.”

Case has autism, and while school and sports can be tough, showing steers is something he excels at. He’s been doing it since he was 9 and takes pride in caring for his animals and contributing to his family’s cattle operation.

His advice to newcomers is simple and wise:
“The Interstate Fair is a great few days. The best thing is having fun with friends that are like family.”

Looking ahead, Case wants to continue helping his family with their cows, and maybe turn chores and animal care into his future job. Each year, nearly all of the money he earns from his project goes back into buying new steers, feed, and sometimes new show equipment. He gets to spend a little of it—$100 just for him as a reward for his hard work.

Case is deeply grateful to his supporters and buyers.
“Thank you for helping me with my project. Showing cattle is hard work, but it’s something I love and feel good at.”

Special thanks to:
💚 Idaho Central Credit Union,
🚜 Adams Tractor,
🛠 The Country Store,
🐄 Mountain Empire Veterinary,
and 🙌 Rob & Liz Cloward, for your kindness and support over the years.

Come cheer on Case at the 2025 Spokane County Fair and support a young man who puts his heart into every show. 🐂💪

🌟 Exhibitor Spotlight: Kashley 🌟

Introducing Kashley, a true cattlewoman through and through! This will be her 8th year showing at the Spokane County Fair, and cattle are far more than just show animals to her—they're part of her family’s legacy. Raised in a multigenerational cattle family, Kashley is proud to carry on a tradition that means the world to her.

Her most unforgettable fair memory? Winning Grand Champion Market Steer—a moment made even more meaningful because the steer was born and raised on her family’s operation.

Kashley is a standout in and out of the ring. She not only shows cattle, but also competes with horses at a national level—having made it to nationals three times! Looking ahead, she plans to join a competitive collegiate livestock judging team, and pursue a career in agricultural law or lobbying to advocate for the industry she loves.

Her advice for new exhibitors:
“Soak it all in. The experiences and connections you make at the fair will be some of the best of your life.”

Kashley wants buyers to know that showing livestock is her passion, and supporting her project means supporting a lifelong commitment to agriculture. Proceeds from her auction animal help fund next year’s project—covering animal costs, feed, and equipment—and will eventually go toward her college education.

A big thank you to the Spokane Interstate Fair Ag Boosters and all the supporters who make these opportunities possible!

Catch Kashley and her steer in the ring at the 2025 Spokane County Fair and support a future leader in agriculture! 🐂🎓

🌟 Exhibitor Spotlight: Wylder 🌟

Say hello to Wylder, a spirited young showman heading into his 3rd year showing at the Spokane County Fair! This year, Wylder is bringing a market hog to the ring—and if you ask him, hogs are definitely his favorite (though goats are pretty fun too!). 🐖

What does Wylder love most about showing animals? The awesome people, the friends he’s made, and of course, being in the show ring with his buddies. "Everyone is really nice, and I love showing with my friends," he says.

His top advice to new exhibitors? "Have fun and play with your friends!" Simple, honest, and straight from the heart.

While Wylder has big dreams of showing pigs and wrestling, right now he's all about enjoying the moment and getting his pig ready for fair week. And yes—he’s pretty sure his pig is going to be big and taste great! 😄

Funds from his auction animal will help him with his next project, and maybe—just maybe—go toward buying a cool new toy.

Be sure to cheer Wylder on at the 2025 Spokane County Fair, and don’t forget to check out his hard work in the hog barn!

🌟 Exhibitor Spotlight: Daphne 🌟

Meet Daphne, a passionate and hardworking young exhibitor returning to the Spokane County Fair for her 4th year! She’ll be showing a market hog this year, though she also enjoys showing goats and loves the experience both species offer.

For Daphne, the best part of working with animals is building a bond—naming them, training them, and turning them into true teammates (and best friends!). She believes in raising awareness about the agriculture community and plans to keep showing livestock for many years to come.

Her favorite fair memory so far? Winning Reserve Champion Peewee Showman—a proud moment that came from dedication and a whole lot of hard work.

Daphne's advice to new exhibitors: “Have fun and do your best!”
She also wants buyers to know that while raising livestock may look easy, it’s anything but. “Getting an animal to the fair takes commitment,” she says. “I work very hard with my animals to prepare them.”

Looking ahead, Daphne hopes to join a livestock judging team in college and will be putting her auction earnings toward both her next project and her college savings.

A big shoutout to Uncle Paul, who’s been a huge help along the way! 👏

Catch Daphne in the ring at the 2025 Spokane County Fair, and be sure to cheer her on! 🐖🎉

🌟 Exhibitor Spotlight: Brynlee 🌟

Meet Brynlee Reinbold, the youngest of the Reinbold exhibitors, heading into her 2nd year showing swine at the Spokane County Fair! Brynlee may be new to showing, but she’s already discovered how rewarding it is to put in the hard work and see her pigs grow and progress.

For Brynlee, the highlight of showing is the excitement of stepping into the show arena with her pig. She also loves being part of the agricultural community and getting to know other exhibitors who share her passion for animals.

Her advice for newcomers? "Work hard and always keep a positive attitude, even when things get tough."

Brynlee’s earnings from selling her animal go into her bank account, just like her siblings, to help fund future projects. She also wants to give a big thank you to the barn staff, booster club, and all the amazing supporters who make showing possible.

Be sure to support Brynlee at the 2025 Spokane County Fair and see her hard work shine!
