Thank you to those of you who have already ordered wreaths and garland from our annual wreath sale fundraiser!
Our goal is to reach $20,000 in sales. These fresh, fragrant, and beautifully designed holiday decorations arrive just before Thanksgiving and they make excellent gifts for friends, family and business connections. Get your order in today!
You can dedicate your purchase to a student in our program, and they will get credit toward their fundraising account.

One thing we talk about a lot is the many benefits of being part of a youth symphony. Studies show that classical music supports brain development etc.
One very tangible benefit of playing an instrument is that you can't be on your phone or your laptop at the same time! Cut down on screen time - support your local youth symphony!

Maybe you're wondering why this is important to a music organization.
It's important because it helps us get the word out about what we do; it creates social credibility (we are real and we are doing good things); it shows that we are part of the community, and it increases our reach.
Like most non-profits, we have a tiny, tiny advertising budget, and we turn to social media to share our stories. So we are grateful to everyone who's following along.

Hello SYS parents and families - we are coming up on a busy Monday rehearsal on Oct. 12 at St. John's Cathedral, Spokane.
It's Symphony photo night, so wear your orchestra best!
The Philharmonic orchestra has sectionals all evening, so you will be in different rooms across the building.
Signs, directions, and staff to help in the lobby - but maybe give yourself a little extra time :-)
PS - we are leaving the slightly used orchestra clothing up until all the photos are done - now is a good time to check the racks and see if something fits.
Picture from the summer camp final concert.
