Hi everyone, I'll be at forest to frame art plein air painting show at the Finch Arboretum, Saturday May 16th 10 to 4. booth number 51 It is sponsored by the Spokane Art School. and will be auctioned both live and online on their website and gallery.

This is a terrific family event at Finch Arboretum with plenty of free kids activities. Now that the rain has stopped, get out there and enjoy some outdoor art and indoor activities.

We cannot wait until Saturday, May 16, to share our passion for Spokane’s amazing outdoors and open spaces with our friends, neighbors, and supporters as we celebrate the first-ever Forest to Frame event in Finch Arboretum.

Organizers invite you to stroll on scenic trails, observe local artists at work, and enjoy hands-on activities for all ages. It’s the Spokane Art School’s Plein Air Art Festival’s first year at Finch Arboretum. Supporters recently rebranded the event from “Brush on the Bluff” and began planning to better serve hundreds of visitors and dozens of artists.

The free, family-friendly event will also feature:

· Live Music – Rosie CQ and Moss & Stone will serenade attendees all event long

· Kids Craft Area – The outdoor early childhood education center, Greenplay Northwest, will host a variety of crafts. Former projects have included painted rocks, floral bookmarks, flags, and more.

· Art Market – Visit our on-site art market to purchase a souvenir from your favorite artist.

· Nature-Inspired Art & Education – We, along with nearly a dozen other local non-profits, will be on hand to host kid-friendly crafts and discuss our work.

· Food & Drinks – Grab lunch from Feast World Kitchen or a free coffee from Thomas Hammer
