Camp Reed Summer Registration Announcement! 🐢📣 All YMCA Camp Reed 2026 summer programs — Traditional Camp, Mini Camp & CITs — will open for registration on 🗓️ Wednesday, January 14 at 9 AM. When registration opens, you will be able to register your camper online through our website.
‌
If your child has never attended a YMCA program before, you will need to create a profile for them in our system — We HIGHLY recommend you complete this step before the registration opening date! For more information on how to create a profile and to view our Programs, Dates, & Rates, please visit our website at ymcainw.org/camp-reed/program-dates-rates/

November is Native American Heritage Month. Camp Reed honors and celebrates the rich cultures, traditions, and lasting contributions of Indigenous peoples across the nation — especially here in the Spokane region.
‌
We’re deeply grateful to live and work on the ancestral lands of the Spokane and Kalispel Tribes, whose leadership, generosity, and stewardship continue to inspire our YMCA family and community.
‌
This summer, Camp Reed was grateful to welcome the Spokane Tribe out to Fan Lake — including elders Warren Seyler and Buzz Gutierrez. We are grateful to them for sharing their wisdom and performing a blessing and land recognition ceremony at Camp Reed. Camp Reed was even lucky enough to host a traditional teepee lakeside that campers were able to experience.

Additionally, thank you to the Kalispel Tribe for your continued support of youth development and for sending over 50 tribal youth to Camp Reed each year — helping young people grow, connect, and thrive.
‌
As we celebrate Indigenous Peoples Month, may we continue to learn from and honor our Indigenous neighbors — building a stronger, more connected community for all.
