| MEET OUR NEWEST AND YOUNGEST BOARD MEMBER | 🥳

Meet Mazie, the newest member of our Next Era Foundation board. With her yes, 👏👏, she bridges the gap between generations on our board, twenty to sixty.

What we love 💙most are her ideas to help us expand our reach and her heart for the girls we serve through Next Era Girls. She once told us, "I was a girl who needed Next Era Girls." She has a heart of gold and wants to be a part of something valuable and life-changing for the generations coming up behind her.

A Whitworth University grad in Spokane, WA (forever a Pirate), the oldest of five, an avid line dancer,🤠and a Dr. Pepper enthusiast, Mazie is a beautiful example that a big heart🥰and wisdom can come in our 20s.

Spokane, Washington, it touched our heart to show up for you in heartbreaking times as the Complex Fires have made national news.

See what we are up to with the Beautiful Bedroom Rebuild as a non-profit.

Check out the Curated Cottage tonight if you live in Spokane (Friday, August 7) for their Night Market. Those affected by the fire can receive for free:

• Clothing: Baby, children's, and adult sizes
• Underwear and socks
• Shoes (all sizes)
• Bathroom essentials
• Jewelry
• Dog and cat food

They are also taking donations for next weeks Night Market, August 21st.

What we are building at Next Era Girls is not a little program, it is a movement.

BIGGER than we know is the feeling we get.

Sharing our new mission statement with you.

Next Era Girls exists to change the trajectory of a girl's life before the world changes it for her. We help girls reclaim who they are, and hold onto it... so the women they become can shape what comes next.

So much thought and heart has gone into the Next Era Girls legacy program to create a world where every girl grows up with what every woman wishes she'd had.

We will have an information table with brochures about our leadership program for girls ages 9–12, our mission, and the impact we are making in the lives of young girls.

Learn how we are helping girls discover their self-worth, uncover their innate gifts, and become authentic leaders.

Our Board Member, Deena Budano, will be available to answer questions about Next Era Girls and our programs.

A heartfelt thank you to Deena for providing space for Next Era Girls to share our mission with the community.

EXCITING NEWS 🎉

Our Next Era Girls program has been invited back to Juneau, Alaska for the THIRD time! The Principal at MRCS Elementary loved what we brought to the classroom so much, he asked us to come twice a year.

The girls said it best:

Porchlight Studio is offering Mother/Daughter (grandmothers too) photo sessions in Spokane, WA. during June and July that celebrate the love, connection, and worth shared between women.
