Eastern Washington University has partnered with the DAV to offer tickets to a Men's Basketball game on January 25th. Any tickets purchased using the link in this email will have $2.00 donated to our local DAV chapter. This is a great opportunity to see some local sports as well as raise some funds for our local DAV chapter. You don't have to be a member to buy these tickets. Ticket prices start at $7.00 each.

We hope everyone had a great summer. We are starting back september 14, 2024.

We will be hosting a breakfast at 0930 on Sept 14, 2024 at
212 david street, Spokane Valley. The breakfast will be $10/ person

Along with the breakfast we will be hosting a white elephant gift raffle. All money's raised stay in chapter to help Veterans.

It is with deepest sorrow and heaviest hearts to have to announce the passing of MSgt Loyd Patton and chapter 6 adjutant. . He left us early this morning and we know he is in a better place, free from pain.

We will give more information once we have it.

Chapter 6 will be having our monthly meeting on April 13, 2024 at 1100 location: 212 S David Street, Spokane Valley

We will be electing our new officers for 2024-2025 year.

The VA announced on Friday 2/9/24 they are expanding the Agent Orange presumptive list to included US Military Bases to included Canada.

Not sure when this takes effect but he is the VA News Release

The Department of Veterans Affairs issued a proposed rule outlining plans to expand the locations and time frames for which VA presumes exposure to Agent Orange and other herbicides.

Our chapter held it monthly meeting. Loyd Patton recieved our chapter Disabled Veteran of the Year award, our breakfast and our annual white elephant gift exchange our youngest winner was Alex who won most of the prizes outbidding many bidders. Thanks your all for the donations.
