DAV Chapter 6 Department Service officer Brigitte Marker and Ross Walker DAV National Service Officer during our Spokane Wildfire relief. DAV National Disater Relief helped 134 Veterans and thier families.

Many were overcome with emotion as they realized we were there to help and give them hope as they navigate starting over.

Brigitte Marker with Ross Walker and Alexis she ia a young fire fighter who lost her home while she was fighting fires to save others properties. She came by today for her neighbor who lost her home and was unable to come in due to a death in her family.

The devastating stories of these fires and the pure emotion from victims that have lost everything when they realize that DAV is there too help them with disaster relief and give them some hope through the upcoming process of starting over.

DAV will be available at the Mann Grandstaff VA medical Center in Buliding 6A tomorrow 8/13/26. From 9am to 2pm.
