As we feed the hungry, rescue women and children in crisis and educate at-risk youth, we help break the chains of oppression and poverty so they can begin to dream again. ⚽ VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR SOCCERFEST 2026! ⚽Do you love soccer? Do you have coaching experience? Do you simply want to make a difference in the life of a child?

On Saturday, June 20th, H-Town Dream Center is partnering with Winning Houston, Stoller Foundation, 4ONE Church, Texas Catalyst FC, and FCA to host an incredible FREE World Cup-themed outreach event for local kids and families.

We are looking for:

✅ Soccer Players
✅ Soccer Coaches
✅ Team Leaders
✅ Station Volunteers
✅ Registration Volunteers
✅ Prayer Team Members
✅ General Event Volunteers

This is much bigger than soccer.

🏆 Four professional soccer players are flying in from Europe.
🏆 A professional stage and sound system will be onsite.
🏆 A professional film crew will be capturing the event.
🏆 Families from across our community will gather for a day of soccer, fun, encouragement, and faith.

Most importantly, we will be sharing the message of "The Greatest Goal"—a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Whether you can help coach a station, encourage a child, pray with a family, or simply serve where needed, we would love to have you join us.

⚽🙌 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR SOCCERFEST 2026! 🙌⚽On Saturday, June 20th, H-Town Dream Center will welcome up to 100 local kids and their families for a FREE day of soccer, fun, faith, encouragement, and community connection.

This event is made possible through an incredible partnership between H-Town Dream Center, Winning Houston, Stoller Foundation, 4ONE Church, Texas Catalyst FC, and FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes).

We're looking for volunteers who want to make a difference in the lives of local children and families.

Volunteer opportunities include:

✅ Registration & Check-In
✅ Soccer Activity Stations
✅ Competition & Game Assistants
✅ Food & Drink Distribution
✅ Parking & Guest Assistance
✅ Family Resource Booths
✅ Prayer & Encouragement Team

On the first Saturday of every month, our team gathers at Finnigan Park to serve the community through free food, essential resources, prayer, encouragement, and meaningful relationships. It’s an opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus and make a real difference in the lives of others.

Whether you come by yourself, with your family, your church, or a group of friends, there is a place for you to serve.

As the second-generation owner of Nelson Pools and Co-Founder of the H-Town Dream Center, Shawn has dedicated his life to serving others, strengthening families, and sharing the love of Christ throughout our community.

Because of his leadership and generosity, countless lives have been impacted through the Dream Center’s efforts to feed the hungry, rescue women and children, mentor youth, and bring hope to those who need it most.

Thank you for leading by example, loving people well, and never losing sight of the mission God has placed before you.

One of the greatest gifts we can give the next generation is knowledge. This week at NXT GEN Nights, our teens had the opportunity to learn practical financial skills through our partnership with Community Resource Credit Union and the Common Cents Financial Literacy Program.

From budgeting and saving to understanding credit and making wise financial decisions, these are lessons that can impact a lifetime.

At the H-Town Dream Center, we believe that helping young people break cycles of poverty starts with equipping them with real-world tools and knowledge. Financial literacy isn’t just about money—it’s about creating opportunities, building confidence, and helping teens make decisions today that will benefit them for years to come.

A huge thank you to Abraham Guevara and Community Resource Credit Union for investing their time, knowledge, and passion into the lives of our students. Partnerships like this help us prepare young people not just to survive, but to thrive.

At the H-Town Dream Center, we truly believe there are no boundaries when it comes to doing good for our community. That’s why every year we are honored to partner with organizations like The Winterrose Crusade to help serve students at Splendora High School through the “Bags of Knowledge” initiative. 🎒

This year, our team not only donated items for the bags, but we also sent volunteers to help hand them out directly to students. We love standing shoulder-to-shoulder with other nonprofits, ministries, businesses, and community leaders who are making a difference. 🙌

When organizations come together instead of competing, lives are impacted in a greater way. That’s what community is all about.
