Since 2010, H-town Dream Center has served Montgomery County by giving the hope, healing and freedom of Christ to the most vulnerable in our community. As we feed the hungry, rescue women and children in crisis and educate at-risk youth, we help break the chains of oppression and poverty so they can begin to dream again. We were able to say YES to Cass. ❤️ When Cass and his mother, Margie, needed help, the H-Town Dream Center was able to welcome them through our House of Hope.

But saying “yes” is only the beginning.

Through our Teen Rescue efforts, we want young people like Cass to be surrounded by people who will invest in them—mentors, community leaders, business professionals, coaches and people from all walks of life who can teach them skills, build their confidence and help them see a future beyond their current circumstances.

For Cass, one of those people happens to be a Drill Sergeant who volunteers his time to pour into our teens.

This is what your support makes possible.

And right now, we need you more than ever. Over the last six months, more teens have come to us needing help than ever before. Every time we say YES, we're committing to more than a bed. We're committing to food, stability, transportation, education, mentorship, life skills and the daily support it takes to help a young person move forward.

We don't want to reach a day when a teen like Cass needs us and we have to say no because the resources aren't there.

He had been borrowing a friend’s bike just to get around. Today, God provided.

🎉 ANOTHER BIG STEP TOWARD INDEPENDENCE! ❤️Today, Madison is opening her very first bank account so she can begin receiving paychecks from her new job! 🙌🏦

This is what we mean when we talk about Life Change at the H-Town Dream Center.

Through our House of Hope and NXT GEN programming, we’re walking alongside teens like Madison as they learn real-life skills, find employment, manage their money, build responsibility, and prepare for an independent future.

A new job. Her first bank account. A paycheck she earned herself. These are BIG wins, and we are so proud of Madison! ❤️

🎉 $12,755 FOR THE NEXT GENERATION! 🙌❤️ Today, our founders Shannon & Shawn Nelson and members of the H-Town Dream Center team visited KSBJ / Hope Media Group to receive an incredible $12,755 check from Rachelle & Carder’s Back to School Prayer & Worship Night!

These funds will directly support our NXT GEN youth programming—from mentoring and life skills to rescuing vulnerable teens, providing safe housing, food and stability, restoring lives, and helping young people grow into healthy, thriving, contributing members of our community.

And this was truly a community effort! ❤️ Jeremiah’s Italian Ice donated $1 from EVERY sale that night, showing what can happen when businesses and individuals come together for a greater purpose.
