Cases like this remind victims of domestic violence that they are not alone and that justice is possible. When offenders are held accountable, it gives survivors the courage to escape dangerous situations and come forward to help prosecute abuse. Great work by Montgomery County District Attorney Mike Holley and his staff for continuing to stand up for victims and protect our community.

A Montgomery County man has been sentenced to 30 years in prison following a violent family assault.

It is pick-up day for The Winterrose Crusade.
We are currently gathering the final items for this year’s Bags of Knowledge. These bags go directly to the seniors at Splendora High School this Wednesday.
Today, we are grateful for the support of our local partners. Thank you to FamilyTime Crisis and Counseling Center, QuickTrip, and the Montgomery County Women's Center for your generous contributions today.
We also recognize the earlier contributions from H-Town Dream Center and Hopeful Hearts Ministry. Your support makes this mission possible.
A special thanks to Good Promotions for your hard work on the design and production of our Bags of Knowledge and T-shirts this year. Your quality work helps us represent the cause well.

It was a true honor to stand before the attendees at the Splendora ISD Senior Awards Banquet last Thursday. Presenting the 2026 Winterrose Crusade Scholarship was a highlight for our organization and for me personally.
Seeing the dedication, resilience, and ambition of these students reminds us why we do this work. They represent the bright future of our community, and it is a privilege to support their next steps.
Congratulations to our scholarship recipient and to the entire Class of 2026. Your hard work has paid off, and we are excited to see the impact you make in the years to come. Thank you to the school district for the opportunity to celebrate these accomplishments together.

The Winterrose Crusade is grateful to Tracie and the entire Greater EMC Chamber for giving us five minutes to share our story. Those five minutes allow us to bring immediate awareness to dating violence and share how we can protect local youth.

The Winterrose Crusade was proud to present Lindsay Guajardo with a $1,000 scholarship at the Porter High School Senior Awards Ceremony on May 5, 2026.
Lindsay stands as a clear example of how steady perseverance leads to significant achievement. Her dedication to her goals makes her a deserving recipient of this award.
We look forward to following her progress and seeing what she accomplishes in her future endeavors. Congratulations, Lindsay!

Today was an incredible day at Montgomery Isd with our Baking A Better Tomorrow program!

The students showed up with amazing attitudes, worked together, and poured their hearts into every item they prepared. It was inspiring to watch them not only learn about building healthy relationships, but also understand the impact they can have on others.

All of the food made today will be donated to the Montgomery County Women's Center shelter—providing comfort, nourishment, and a reminder of support to survivors who are courageously stepping away from abusive relationships.

This is what it’s all about—empowering young people to be part of something bigger and turning compassion into action. We are so proud of these students and grateful for the opportunity to partner with Montgomery ISD to make a difference right here in our community. 💜
