🌟 What a NIGHT! 🌟

The first Neon Glow Night at the Spiro Town Park was AWESOME! Approximately 70 kiddos (not counting parents and guardians) came out to join the fun, and let me tell you—it was definitely a success!

Who doesn’t love a little glow in the dark, a little foam, and a whole lot of DANCING?! 💃🕺✨

A huge THANK YOU to Joella Burr for organizing this amazing event, and to all the volunteers and supporters who helped make the evening such a memorable one for our community.

If you missed it, don’t worry! Make plans to join us next Thursday at 8:30 PM at the Spiro Town Park for another evening of fun, laughter, and glowing memories!

🌟 What a Great Night at the Spiro Town Park! 🌟

Last night was filled with fun, laughter, and community spirit as families gathered at the Spiro Town Park for the 1st Annual Kids Maker Market & Movie Night!

We were thrilled to host nearly 30 young entrepreneur booths and welcome approximately 200 community members who came out to support our local kids. From handmade crafts and sweet treats to creative business ideas, our young makers did an outstanding job showcasing their talents and learning valuable entrepreneurial skills.

A special thank you goes to Joella Burr for organizing this amazing event and to LoriAnne Bellgard for her hard work and dedication to making these community activities possible.

Most importantly, thank you to all of the kids, parents, grandparents, friends, and community members who attended. Your support made this event a tremendous success and demonstrated what makes Spiro such a special place to call home.

Events like these are about more than just having fun—they help build confidence in our youth, encourage creativity, and bring our community together.

Thank you, Spiro, for showing up in a big way! We can’t wait to see what exciting activities are next at the park.

We’ve had several community members asking about the playground and park equipment that was made possible through the generous support and donations of our community.

We reached out to the Park Improvements Committee for an update, and we’re excited to share that some of the equipment has already been delivered! A few pieces from the first order are still being fabricated, and the committee is currently working with the Town to coordinate installation.

The plan is to install all of the equipment from the first order and then evaluate the park’s needs before placing a second order using the remaining donated funds.

We appreciate everyone’s patience and continued support as improvements continue at the Spiro Town Park. These projects take time, but the end result will be something our entire community can enjoy for years to come!

A huge thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, and helped make these park improvements possible. We look forward to sharing more updates as installation begins!

🎉 TOMORROW IS THE FIRST EVER SPIRO KIDS MAKER'S MARKET! 🎉

We are SO excited to see all the creativity, entrepreneurship, and fun our local kids bring to the park!

📅 Tomorrow�⏰ 7:30 PM - 8:30 PM�🎬 Vendors are welcome to stay open during the movie if they'd like to continue selling snacks, drinks, or other items.

A few things to know:
✅ No advance signup required�✅ Bring your own table and supplies�✅ Set up a little early so you're ready by 7:30 PM�✅ Cash, card, Venmo, or whatever payment method works for your business!

This market is designed to be:�⭐ For the kids�⭐ Made by the kids�⭐ Operated by the kids (with reasonable adult support)

We encourage each child to:�🎨 Create a business name�🎨 Make a sign�💰 Learn about costs and profits�📣 Practice marketing�🤝 Interact with customers�🧮 Count money and make change

All vendor tables will be set up in the grassy area by the lake near the movie screen. We're hoping to keep everyone together and minimize kids crossing the street.

🚗 Parking will fill up quickly. Additional parking is available near the flagpole area.

💙 The Spiro Chamber Membership Drive also kicks off tomorrow!

You do NOT have to own a business to become a member. If you love our community, have ideas to share, and want to help Spiro grow, we'd love to have you join us!
