Registration opened today for our summer season of Courts & Cocktails, our adult doubles social league! The league brings together players weekly for friendly doubles matches. Courts & Cocktails is an adult mixed doubles social league offered by LTTA! The 10-week league brings together 32 full season players weekly on Wednesday evenings for friendly doubles matches held at the Lake Travis High School tennis courts.

Big win to start the season for the Volley Lamas! 🦙🎾

LTTA’s first-ever USTA League team opened the season with a victory today! Huge thanks to our co-captains Richard Evans and Natalie Malnor, our players, and Legend Tennis Academy for giving us a home court for league play.

This mixed doubles team represents an exciting new chapter for LTTA as we continue growing adult tennis opportunities in the Lake Travis area. Here’s to a fun season of competition, community, and plenty more Sundays on the courts!

Our Adult Red Ball event welcomed players of all levels, with many picking up a racquet for the very first time. Within minutes, rallies were happening, games were underway, and connections were being made.

A big thank you to Racquet Lifestyle for leading match play and keeping the energy high, and to Legend Tennis Academy for hosting us at their beautiful facility.

And a special touch—select players took home exclusive designer tennis totes from Le Courte. ✨

This event will feature Red Ball Tennis, a fun and accessible format that uses lower-compression balls and smaller court space to create longer rallies, easier movement, and a more social, engaging style of play—perfect for both newer players and experienced players looking for a lighter, more interactive game.

Enjoy a casual atmosphere where you can meet new people, rally, and unwind on the court. Equipment, beverages and light snacks will be provided. No previous tennis experience is required! Spots are limited and the link to register is below.

Free Red Ball Social Event!
Lake Travis Tennis Association is launching a new program called Red Ball Tennis for players of any skill level. No tennis experience required! Red ball is played on a shorter court, with a smaller racquet and low compression ball. We're hosting a free social event on May 3 at Legend Tennis Academy near Spicewood so come give it a try! Legend Tennis Academy has started an adult singles ladder for men and women and are looking for players! The ladder is free and you can play your matches at any court. The form to register is below and some more details below. Registration ends tomorrow so act quickly!!

🎾 8-week competitive ladder: March 15 – May 15

🎾 Flexible scheduling
🎾 Play players at your level

The Lake Travis Tennis Association is proud to support student-athletes through our LTTA College Scholarship Program.

Each year, LTTA awards scholarships to graduating high school seniors in the Lake Travis community who are active tennis players and plan to pursue higher education. In 2025, LTTA awarded four scholarships totaling $4,000 to outstanding local students.

These scholarships recognize students who demonstrate dedication to tennis, academic ambition, strong character, and a commitment to their community.

If you live in the Lake Travis community and are a high school senior who plays tennis, we encourage you to apply. The application deadline is April 10.

Applicants must submit an online application and a letter of recommendation from a coach, teacher, or school official.

What a great time yesterday at our Courts & Cocktails kickoff party, hosted at in . We met a few new faces and caught up with old friends. Lake Travis Tennis Association board members Richard Evans and Kim Fox spent the weekend in Dallas attending the 2026 USTA Foundation Impact Conference & Community Tennis Development Workshop (CTDW).

The gathering brought together tennis leaders, NJTL chapters, and community tennis advocates from across the country to share ideas, build connections, and strengthen programs that grow the game and expand access to tennis in local communities.
