Thanks to all our members who kept us operating through the storm. Thanks to everyone who helped by quietly staying home making it possible for us to get to emergency calls.

Obviously this isn't over. There are plenty of people without plowed driveways and the cement/snow/ice isn't going away soon. Check on your neighbors and please, please don't block the road with snow as you dig out.

We're happy if a member comes in and washes a vehicle, super happy if someone power washes the floor in one or two bays. Then there's Gus. He comes in, washes all 4 vehicles, power washes all 4 bay floors, and takes a nice picture while he's at it. Thank you Gus!

Members of the Sperryville Volunteer Rescue Squad (Company 7) held a ceremonial launch for their new ambulance, which follows a firehouse tradition that dates back to horse-drawn fire engines in the 1800s era.
