Dr Linda Shanti, a psychologist and member of the Dreams from Drake family, led over 40 participants at our May Healing Circle through an activity based on this Important message: healthy grieving includes continuing your relationship with your person by carrying their love, values, and memory with you.

Thanks to Seneca Park Zoo for having us! After the Healing Circle, families had the opportunity to enjoy an afternoon with the animals!

This group of kiddos grew up to create the Dreams from Drake Board of Directors. Together, they help children and teens process the loss of a sibling or parent so that when their grief begins, their childhood doesn’t end. This team works together so that we can all heal together.

There is no cure for grief. There’s no “getting over it.” At Dreams from Drake, we focus on providing tools to help children and teens who have lost a sibling or parent process their grief in a healthy way. We also believe there’s great healing power in knowing you’re not alone.
