The Troop 92 Tree Lot is CLOSED for the season!⚜️🌲
The amount our Scouts learn every year during our Christmas tree sale is immeasurable. Some of it is practical, like how to dress to stay warm, or how to assist a customer to find the perfect tree. But they are also learning Teamwork - From working together with their fellow scouts and leaders to get the lot set up or getting an enormous tree through the baler. Character Development - Sometimes it gets cold at the tree lot and it takes a certain level of grit and resilience to be cheerful anyways and smile through it. Leadership Skills - the older scouts showing the new scouts how things work. It is amazing to see the Scouts who were once the brand new (little!) Scouts leading our new Scouts!
Christmas is coming, and the tree sale is done for another year, but the memories and the lessons the Scouts have learned will be with them forever.
