Spencerport Junior Girl Scouts Troop 60283 will be conducting a Food Drive to aid the Spencerport Food Shelf at Spencerport Tops on Saturday, 12/6 from 9-1.

Although our Thanksgiving Program is over, we remind everyone that we take calls at 397-0290 for food deliveries throughout the year. Our only requirement for service is that you reside in the Spencerport School District.

Our FoodShelf has seen a dramatic increase in calls due to the situation surrounding SNAP. We will gladly take any donation of non- perishable foods! Our current list of "most needed" items:

Peanut Butter
Jelly
Pasta
Pasta Sauce
Macaroni & Cheese
Soup
Canned Fruit
Baked Beans
Canned Mixed Vegetables

Donations can be dropped off at the FoodShelf at 4997 Ridge Rd West on Thursday mornings from 9-11. We also will pick up large donations. Please call at 397-0290 for a pick up. As always, donations are being collected by our Ecumenical Church Group - St. John's, Trinity Lutheran, Spencerport Wesleyan, Ogden Presbyterian, Ogden Baptist, Adam's Basin United Methodist, Spencerport United Methodist & First Congregational UCC

Look for the Spencerport Food Shelf's decorated vehicle at the Magical Holiday Celebration! We will be there handing out candy and accepting donations of non perishable food to support the Food Shelf.

We are open every Thursday morning from 9-11. The FoodShelf is located in the back of the Karen Baptist Church at 4997 Ridge Rd. West, Spencerport. You can also call 397-0290 for a pick up. Donations can also be made to area parishes - St Johns, Spencerport United Methodist, First UCC, Trinity Lutheran, Ogden Baptist, Ogden Presbyterian or Adam's Basin United Methodist

We are thankful for the communities support! The Spencerport Food Shelf provided turkeys, plus all the extras for Thanksgiving dinner, to 86 families in our neighborhood! Our Thanksgiving program may be over, but we are here year round. If you need assistance, and live within the Spencerport School District, you are eligible. We can be reached at 397-0290.
