Hello, all. Happy New Year! Our hope is that your year is off to a great start. As many of you know, we are a small newly established 501c3 nonprofit organization. Over the last two years we have experienced several challenges, the most significant being the condition of our physical building. It is in dire need of some major repairs and renovations. Our goal is to have it up to code and fully functional by summer. We are asking you to DONATE time, money, labor, materials, and other resources so we can be in position to better serve. Some of our needs are:
Roofing
Building/Construction /General Contractor
Plumbing
Tree Removal
Electrical
Interior/Exterior Painting
Concrete/Pavement
Exterior signage

As we take time to remember Angie Heard, the inspiration behind Heard Community Outreach, we reflect on the key principles that drive the organization's mission to bridge the gaps in services and resources, empowering marginalized and underserved members of the community.

First and foremost, Angie instilled the importance of a close and personal spiritual connection with God. In light of hardship, she often quoted "with Jesus as my friend, I'll make it." Though Heard Community Outreach may not be a faith based organization, we acknowledge the significance of God in our outreach endeavors and fostering the resilience of those we serve.

Secondly, Angie always reminded us that "you never know when that could be you, so be the one to do." Often times people see a need, but aren't willing to meet the need. At Heard Community Outreach, we have committed to doing.

And lastly, Angie taught us that it doesn't take alot to make an impact as long as "each one reach one." Heard Community Outreach is small in number, but with the help of others we can cause a ripple of change, one connection at a time.
