Would you consider a career in livestock hauling? Miss Karen spoke about her experiences in animal transportation and introduced us to her hobby farm pets. We also explored the differences between farm-raised and store-bought meat, as well as the demanding work required for animal care and equipment maintenance. Mr. Lanning, an SVE alumnus, visited us yesterday and discussed his diverse career, which has spanned law enforcement, emergency medical services, firefighting, and emergency management. He emphasized the value of finding a career that one is passionate about, making the work feel more enjoyable. Nevertheless, his primary focus was on the severe shortage of volunteers in local fire departments, and he encouraged our students to volunteer, stressing that the next generation's involvement is essential to maintaining fire-fighting services in our community and other regions.

Our extraordinary journey to Cornell University, generously sponsored by our friend Rushil and The Ursa Majors Group, was truly uplifting! We had the privilege of exploring several cutting-edge STEM Labs, had a delightful treat from the Cornell Dairy Bar, met a couple of The Stemininsts, and enjoyed a pizza dinner! The campus was buzzing with students diligently preparing for finals and graduation, filling us with a sense of purpose! What a fantastic way to culminate our STEM series with Rushil! We are forever grateful for the time he invested in inspiring us to contemplate the profound impact of science in every aspect of our lives, from nature to infrastructure! Thank you Rushil, you are a true catalyst for growth!
