Happy 90th Birthday to John Hackworthy! 🎂

Today, we celebrate a remarkable milestone for one of the founders of the Owen County Community Foundation. John has been part of the OCCF’s story from the beginning, helping lay the foundation for a lasting legacy of giving and community impact in Owen County. 🎁

We were honored to have the opportunity to celebrate John and this special milestone at our Donor Appreciation Luncheon earlier this month. Please join us in wishing John a very happy 90th birthday! 🎉

Today is Donor-Advised Fund Day! 💙

We’re celebrating the donors who use donor-advised funds to turn their generosity into meaningful support for organizations and causes across our community. From helping local nonprofits meet immediate needs to supporting long-term initiatives, donor-advised funds that are simple to create, convenient to manage, and flexible enough to offer you as much hands-on involvement as you would like. 🤝

At the OCCF, we’re grateful to partner with donors who are passionate about giving back and making a lasting impact in Owen County. Happy Donor-Advised Fund Day! 🎉

Giving to the OCCF is about more than a donation. It is about making a lasting difference in the lives of people throughout our community.

Our Donor Appreciation Luncheon brought donors and local nonprofits together to share stories, celebrate successes, and show firsthand what their generosity makes possible. Hearing directly from the organizations doing this work is a meaningful reminder that every gift has an impact, helping strengthen Owen County one community investment at a time. ❤️

Have you ever wondered what it actually costs to care for one of our horses? 🐴💰
Our horses are at the heart of so much of what happens at Crossroads Ranch, but keeping them happy, healthy, and ready for our programs takes a lot!

That’s why our Horse Sponsorship Program lets you choose the part of their care that means the most to you:
🪣 $150 — Basic Maintenance
🩺 $200 — Veterinary Care
👣 $300 — Hoof Care Sponsor
🌾 $900 — Hay & Feed Sponsor
❤️ $1,500 — Full Sponsor

You don’t have to sponsor an entire horse to make a difference. Every level helps us provide the care Rocky, Misty, Bear, Bindi, and Diesel need throughout the year.

Learn more or sponsor a horse at crossroads-ranch.com/sponsor-a-horse/
