Whether you're a returning Raider or joining us for the first time, this is a great opportunity to connect with your team and get excited for what's ahead.

🎙️ STAR SEARCH: 2026 HOME GAME ANNOUNCER(S) WANTED! 🏈

Do you love football? Do you have heightened energy, BIG personality, and a great speaking voice?

The Leicester Spencer Raiders are looking for one—or more—volunteer Home Game Day Announcers for the 2026 season!

We're hoping to build a small team of announcers who can rotate throughout the season and help create an exciting, positive game day atmosphere for our athletes, families, and fans.

Responsibilities include:
🏈 MC youth football games in a fun, positive, family-friendly manner
📣 Reading sponsor advertisements, league messages + raffle announcements
⚡ Bringing energy and excitement to every home game

We're looking for someone who:
✅ Loves the game of football
✅ Enjoys engaging with crowds
✅ Can represent the Raiders in a positive and professional way
✅ Wants to help showcase what makes our program special

📍 Home games are played at Wire Village School in Spencer, MA
📅 Season primarily runs September through October
🥤 Volunteer position (breakfast and/or lunch from the snack shack provided!)

Whether you're a former player, coach, football fanatic, local sports personality, or simply someone who loves being behind the microphone, we'd love to hear from you.

We want to help our Raider families save time and arrive at Meet Your Team Night fully prepared! Most of your required paperwork can be completed right from home without making extra trips.

✅ STEP 1: PRINT YOUR REGISTRATION PACKET

Already registered online?

1️⃣ Visit www.leicesterspencerraiders.org
2️⃣ Click *Sign In* (top right corner)
3️⃣ Log into your SportsEngine accountt
4️⃣ Click your profile circle (top right)
5️⃣ Select *Registrations*
6️⃣ Open your child's 2026 Fall Football/Cheer registration
7️⃣ Click "Download AYF Autoform (.pdf)"

🎉 Your packet will download already filled out! Simply print, initial, and sign where required.

✅ STEP 2: GET YOUR 2026 PHYSICAL OR MEDICAL CLEARANCE

A 2026 physical is required for participation.

💻 Option A: Use MyChart

• Log into MyChart
• Select your child's account
• Open *Letters*
• Locate the most recent physical letter
• Print the appointment summary

⚠️ Physical documentation must state your child is cleared for *all sports activities with no restrictions.*

📋 Option B: Have Your Doctor Complete an AYF Medical Clearance Form

To avoid an office visit:

• Download and save the form
• Log into MyChart
• Go to *Messages* → *Send a Message*
• Select *Ask a Medical Question* → *Non-Urgent*
• Choose your child's provider
• Use the subject: *Football/Cheer Medical Clearance*
• Attach the AYF Medical Clearance Form
• Request that the doctor complete and sign it

Most providers will return the signed form electronically or notify you when it's ready for pickup.

✅ STEP 3: OBTAIN A CERTIFIED BIRTH CERTIFICATE

AYF requires a certified birth certificate with a raised seal.

Don't have the original or prefer to keep it safe?

🏠 Request one from home!

• Visit your town or city Clerk's Office website
• Locate Vital Records/Birth Certificate requests
• Submit your request and payment online
• Your certified copy will be mailed directly to you

💡 Request from either:
• The town/city where your child was born, OR
• The town/city where the parents lived at the time of birth

🏈 BIG NEWS - LSR TACKLE FOOTBALL 🏈

Thanks to a recently awarded grant, every Leicester Spencer Raiders tackle football player will be provided a Guardian Cap for the 2026 season at no additional cost to families.

Player safety remains our top priority, and we're proud to continue investing in equipment and resources that help make the game safer while preserving the excitement and life lessons tackle football provides.

This is just one more step in our commitment to creating a positive and safe environment for our athletes to learn, grow, and compete.
