🚲 2025 Bikes for Tykes Applications Now Available! 🚲
The Spencer Exchange Club is excited to once again offer Bikes for Tykes to children in Owen County ages 3–16!

If you know a child who could benefit from receiving a bike this holiday season, please complete an application and submit it by NOON on Friday, December 5, 2025.

📍 Where to Submit Applications:
Owen County Community Foundation
60 E Market Street, Spencer
(A mail slot is available in the door for after-hours drop-off.)

📌 Important Details:

Child must live in Owen County.

Children who received a bike last year are not eligible this year.

You must circle whether the bike is for a boy or girl.

Bike sizes available: 12, 16, 20, 24, and 26.
If you’re unsure of the correct size, Walmart allows you to try bikes for sizing.

Please make sure all contact information is filled out clearly.

🎁 Bike Pickup Day:
Saturday, December 13th
1–3 p.m.
Open Class Building, Owen County Fairgrounds
(Please note: Bikes not picked up during this time will be given to others.)

Christmas trees are up at Babbs Supermarket! 🎄

Club members were out today getting them set and ready for the season. Trees are $45, and you can pay right at the customer service desk inside Babbs.

We truly appreciate the community’s support—every tree purchased helps us continue serving Owen County and supporting the work of the Exchange Club throughout the year.

We recently donated to Owen County Adult Education to help cover testing fees for students, giving them a step closer to achieving their educational goals. Education empowers, and we’re honored to help remove barriers for those continuing their journey.

We’re out at Babbs Supermarket today from 10 AM to 6 PM serving up Steve Withem’s amazing smoked pork burgers — and trust us, you don’t want to miss them!

Steve is generously donating all of the food and supplies, so 100% of every sale goes directly to the Spencer Parks and Recreation’s Cooper Commons Recreation Project — helping us build public restrooms, a basketball court, and two pickleball courts right here in Spencer. https://www.patronicity.com/project/cooper_commons_recreation_project? #!/

This holiday season, the Spencer Exchange Club proudly presents an exceptional opportunity to acquire fresh cut Christmas trees at a remarkably low price of $40. Patrons will have the option to select from Balsam Fir or White Pine trees, available while supplies last.
