Literacy for Little Ones, Inc. Literacy for Little Ones provides reading opportunities to all children. Early Literacy is very important for the child's future.

A performance gap in literacy achievement exists for students in urban schools, who have a greater proportion of at-risk students. With that said, early literacy programming significantly improves achievement for student in urban school districts. Please support us in our efforts to bridge this gap.

For the LOVE of Books....I woke up at 2am this morning to some sounds coming from my almost 3 year old daughter's room...I walked into the hallway to find her with a book... "Mommy read to me please" she says! How could I say no to that! So at 2am we curled up on her chair and read "Good Night Moon"...then back to bed we went!

Thanks to the generous donations from friends, family, strangers and Reader to Reader we have over 500 books already to give to the kids before their December vacation!!!!

As the holiday season approaches what would be a better gift than the gift of reading...This year we would love to give a book to every child in an elementary school in Springfield. We need to raise 376 books...if you would like to donate a new book please let me know! Thank you for helping provide children the opportunity to receive a priceless gift!
