This is your chance to highlight all your hard work, leadership, and achievements from the past year. Whether you’re completing your Personal Achievement Award or nominating a fellow member or volunteer who has gone above and beyond, now is the time!

Purdue Extension’s Nutrition Education Program is currently hiring new Community Nutrition Advisors to support the statewide Smart SNAP Education initiative as part of Indiana’s Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP). We have several posted positions across rural Indiana. All Indiana State Fair results for Owen County are posted below! ⚾️🎟️🎡

This year, we had a total of 95 non-animal exhibits taken to the state fair! We had an additional seven 4-Her's travel to show animals!

🥫 2026 FAIR CARES CANNED FOOD DRIVE RESULTS! 🥫

Owen County, you outdid yourselves this year!

We collected a total of 773 canned goods, which is over 150 more cans than last year. Your generosity continues to grow, and our community feels the impact.

Here’s where your donations are headed:

✨ 287 pop‑tab cans will be donated to Backpack Buddies through the SOCS School District
✨ 486 regular cans will be donated to Mark’s Mission Food Pantry
