It has been brought to our attention and has been questioned about what we do for the youth within our county. Here at Van Buren County Youth Association, our commitment to our children of the community is priority and has always been carried out through volunteer work. We have a league for tee ball, baseball, softball, and basketball. I’d like to highlight a small portion of things we have achieved the past few years. All of these accomplishments have been driven by volunteers including VBCYA board members, coaches, concession personnel, sponsors, and community.

- 3000 pounds field conditioner applied last season only
- Field home side bleacher shelter built to match baseball field
- Field concession stand scorekeeping counter installation
- Equipment for middle school baseball team
- Uniforms for middle school baseball team
- Uniforms for middle school basketball teams (boys and girls)
- Warm up jerseys for elementary basketball teams (boys and girls)
- Equipment to school softball team
- Folding chairs for aux gym
- Donated a portion for school’s new baseball pitching machine
- Dedicated youth fun days
- Yearly $500 college scholarship awarded
- New score table for middle/high school
