People have been asking for updates... We are making progress. Cleanup is going well. The support from the community has been amazing. Everyone in the area knows exactly what we are going through.

We don't need volunteers, or donations yet, this is a long term project.

If you would like to help, check with the City of Spencer, Iowa, Spencer Chamber of Commerce, Spencer Main Street, Spencer Strong. We need everyone to recover together.

Thanks everyone for your support. The first step is to clean the damage from the flood, winterize the building, and protect the structure.

If you want to help, focus on the rest of the town, check on Souix Rapids and the other little towns people are forgetting about. Get the people that lost everything back on their feet.

This is going to be a long term project, and I will need your help to make it happen. But the best way to help right now is to recover, get the harvest in and remeber its not just Spencer Strong, it's Clay County Strong, it's Iowa Strong.
