🚨 Community Update 🚨
Yesterday, Kimberly Tate and her daughter Yasmin Zanae of Junction City Louisiana made their first court appearance following charges of 2nd Degree Animal Cruelty. These charges stem from the heartbreaking death of their German Shepherd, who suffered from prolonged starvation.
This case is a painful reminder of why our work—and the voice of this community—matters so much. No animal deserves to suffer in silence.
We want to extend our sincere gratitude to the Union Parish Sheriff’s Office for taking this matter seriously, and a special thank you to Deputy Chandler Smith for his dedication and compassion in pursuing justice for this innocent animal.
We will continue to follow this case and advocate for those who cannot speak for themselves.
💔🐾 Please continue to report neglect and cruelty. If you see something, say something!!!!
Together, we can make a difference.
