"Neighbors Helping Neighbors"
The City of Spearman Beautification Board recently held its biannual Community Cleanup Week—and our community showed up! This event encourages residents to remove unwanted items visible to the public, helping make Spearman cleaner and more welcoming.
Together, we disposed of more than 150,000 pounds of waste:
130,140 pounds of everyday household waste
176 tires taken directly to the landfill by residents
20,540 pounds of tires collected at the County Barn drop-off location
City staff and City Council thank everyone who participated. A special thank-you goes to our Beautification Board members for their time and dedication: Judy Tindell (Chairman), Kellye Buchanan, Kay Snider, Jackie Pearson, Bob Johnson, and Chamber Director Bonnie Thompson.
