An update on Christian from his mother, Richelle. đź’™

Christian was transferred to Houston this last Tuesday and will start chemo this coming Tuesday. He will undergo 5 different chemos- Vincristine, Doxorubicin, Cyclophosphamide, Ifosfamide and Etoposide (VAC/IE). He’ll do chemo 2 days every 3 weeks for 18 weeks, with scans every 6 weeks.

Right now we have about a 10% chance of getting him to surgery, but 10% is better than 0% and we know he’s got this. 💛 Christian and I will be staying in Houston, and Dad will come down about every 10 days and stay with us for 5 or 6 days, then head back home for work.

We could not be more grateful for The Dax Foundation Board of Directors pictured here. Not pictured, their supportive spouses that deserve praise as well. Most did not eat or ever sat down, and spent Saturday night overseeing every detail to ensure every moment went seamlessly. Their incredible work, dedication, and servant hearts made the magic happen. We are so thankful to serve alongside people who continually sharpen, strengthen, and inspire one another- always bringing their unique talents to make this foundation better and stronger. What an incredible blessing this board is. 🤍
