Lets try this again... softball session tomorrow!

Players ready to warm up at 5pm
Location: BH Energy field
***only participants that played this past season for SYSA are eligible due to insurance. Any age from 8U to 14U can participate.

Session will entail
warmups - 15min
Throwing warm up and relay drill- 20 min
Fielding drills- 35 min
Base running and sliding on slide pads- 15 min

Times are estimated and would change depending on player turnout.

3 Parents or coaches willing to help would be greatly appreciated.

Players need to bring gloves and cleats and face mask. Leggings are recommended for sliding drills.

A head count would be helpful, please text 605-431-3202 with player name and age.

PITCHING LESSON OPPORTUNITY — COMING THIS OCTOBER!

We’re excited to share a great opportunity for young pitchers in our softball community!

This October, we’ll have a former college softball player in the Rapid City area who will be offering pitching lessons to local youth athletes.

This is a great chance for developing pitchers to work one-on-one with a college athlete, learn from her experience, and continue building their skills.
One of our goals as a league is to continue creating opportunities that connect our younger athletes with players who have competed at the next level. Having a college pitcher willing to come back and invest her time into the next generation is exactly what growing the game is all about.

Additional information regarding registration, lesson availability, age groups and cost will be announced soon.

Hey parents, we are planning things for fall and next season. The SYSA board needs to hear feedback from you. Parent meeting is next Monday. AUG 31st at 6pm at BH ENERGY FIELD. if you can’t make it, please send input through email or a letter to the league.

Your input is crucial so please let the board know what was good, or could be improved and suggestions on how to do it, or what ideas you have and how to implement them.
