Northern Hills Sources of Support is working to update our housing resource information so we can better assist individuals and families who contact us seeking housing throughout the Northern Hills.

We are reaching out to local landlords and housing rental agencies to ask for your help in providing current information about available rental properties, application processes, contact information, and other resources that may be helpful to those searching for housing.

We would greatly appreciate it if you could take a few minutes to complete the attached Jotform. The information you provide will help us maintain accurate and up-to-date housing resources and better connect community members with available housing opportunities.

We have some pretty exciting news to share! 🩵

Northern Hills Sources of Support has now assisted over 1,000 individuals and families through our work in support of our mission.

1,000 people and families who reached out for help, needed someone to listen, were looking for a resource, or just weren’t sure where to turn.

And behind that number are 1,000+ stories, challenges, conversations and connections.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has trusted us, supported our work, donated, volunteered, shared our information, or helped connect someone with us.

This milestone belongs to our whole community.

Thank you for allowing us to do this work and for continuing to believe in the importance of neighbors helping neighbors.

Here’s to continuing to show up, make connections and help where we can.

Northern Hills Sources of Support (SOS) is here to help individuals and families in Butte, Meade, and Lawrence Counties connect with the resources and support they need.

Our services include:

Connecting individuals and families with local food resources and assistance programs.

Help finding resources for utilities, transportation, household needs, and other essential expenses.

We work with you one-on-one to understand your situation, identify available resources, and help connect you with the organizations that can assist.

We collaborate with local organizations to strengthen our community, raise awareness of available services, and help fill gaps where support is needed.

Resource assistance for the Northern Hills

We have a disabled friend in need in Spearfish seeking assistance with the use of a truck and hauling an estimated 2 truckloads of furnishings to a new apartment within a very short distance in Spearfish on Saturday, August 8th. Heavy items include an electric bed, dresser, recliner, desk, 2 bookcases and other smaller miscellaneous items. There are stairs. If you or your organization can assist, please reach out to me at (605) 920-1975. She is on a fixed income but may be able to pay a small amount. Thank you!

We will be out selling 50/50 tickets at Downtown Friday Nights tonight! We got rained out last time but tonight’s weather looks promising and Brandon Jones will be playing on the main stage. You won’t want to miss it!

Tonight’s Days of 76 Rodeo is Sold Out! Find NHSOS at the Grandstand Bar serving your cold refreshments. 100% of tips received tonight will benefit our Mission!

Well the skies opened up fast and furious causing DFN to close down in a haste of flying tents and chairs. We are disappointed that such an amazing event ended too soon but thankful for the much needed moisture!

Tonight’s winner of the 50/50 has been located and generously donated his winnings back to NHSOS! Thank you Jim!
