Thank you to the Rotary Club of Meadville, District 7280 for supporting FSF! This grant will provide our stewardship volunteers with new tools and safety equipment, including kid-sized items to encourage the next generation of forest stewards!

Our 2025 Annual Report highlights your generous support and the year's accomplishments. Last year, with the help of grantors, FSF's staff and Board invested heavily in organizational resilience through a financial systems audit and an intensive strategic planning process. Yesterday's Lynn Firth Wildflower Walk was a true celebration of Spring after the long winter! We pivoted to Sparta Sportsmen's Community Forest on Old Rte 77 Rd. where the flowers were further along, and were rewarded with the sight of flowering hobblebush - a rare find in our region. Thank you to all who attended!

Wondering what's happening at our Robert Brace Nature Reserve (on Kennedy Hill Road south of Meadville) recently?🌳 FCVC has partnered with the Foundation for Sustainable Forests to salvage trees that had to be cleared for the National Fuel gas pipeline. By supplying these logs to local sawmills, we’re supporting the local community while directing the revenue toward long-term conservation and stewardship.
