At our recent Uptown Sertoma Club of Spartanburg meeting, we were honored to present a $10,000 check to Sam Hook, Executive Director of the South Carolina School for the Deaf and the Blind Foundation, in recognition of the proceeds from our inaugural Resounding Grace Garden Party fundraiser.

Thanks to the vision and leadership of Kathryn Macdonald, our goal of raising $10,000 became a reality. Even more meaningful, Sam shared that our gift covered the remaining funds needed to purchase a robotic arm, allowing the Foundation and the School to reach their goal as well!

Resounding Grace was truly a magical evening. The breathtaking garden setting, perfect weather, and wonderful fellowship created an unforgettable atmosphere of generosity, hope, and community.

A heartfelt thank you to Kathryn, her incredible team of Sertoma women, our generous sponsors and donors, and everyone who attended and supported this special event. Your kindness and generosity made our first Resounding Grace fundraiser an overwhelming success, and together we are making a lasting difference in the lives of the students served by the South Carolina School for the Deaf and the Blind.

Here’s to the first of many Resounding Grace celebrations! Together, we are truly living our motto: Service to Mankind.
