Boncile Levon Dover McCollum of 112 Pine Street, entered into eternal life on February 20, 2026, after a brief illness. A native of Cowpens. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Delmus Dover.

She was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Cowpens where she served as Clerk, Sunday School Teacher, Usher, Hospital Committee Chariman, Assistant Pianist and a member of the Choir. Mrs. McCollum also served as a Clerk of the Thickey Mountain Baptist Association. She was a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority. Mrs. McCollum was a Teacher at the South Carolina School for the Deaf and Blind.

Survivors include: one brother, Sleeter Dover, Esq. of Fort Collins, CO; two nieces; two nephews; an adopted sister, Mary Louise Williams of Spartanburg, SC.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 27, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, Cowpens, SC. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Notification is given that Sherri Moon from SCSD will not have a funeral or burial service. A viewing will be held at 2pm on Monday, February 9, 2026, at Patterson Cremation and Funeral Service in Jacksonville, FL, approximately 30 minutes away.

Girls game 6:00pm start.
