Safe Sleep…Every Sleep!

Winter Storm Safety Tips…

With severe storms across the country this weekend, a little preparation can keep your family safe on the road.

🌧️ Expect delays and changing conditions. Check the forecast and build extra time into your plans.

🚗 If you’re driving, prepare for weather emergencies. Pack extra blankets, food, water, and diapers in case traffic slows or your car gets stuck in winter weather. Keep your phone charged, let someone know your route, and clear the exhaust pipe of packed snow.

🛣️ Icy roads demand caution, reduce speed and increase following distance to stay safe.

🧒 Wearing bulky clothes or winter coats can prevent a snug fit of the harness. Adjust the harness while your child’s coat is off, then put the coat on and rebuckle.
