Just wrapped up our first session of archery this semester with The View Centershot Ministry. It was a great night seeing how much these guys have learned and grown over the past eight weeks.

Tonight we closed out with a final lesson using the Life Bow — a powerful tool that helps share the story of the Gospel:

• Black (Limbs): Represents sin — we all miss God’s target (Romans 3:23).
• Red (Riser): Stands for Jesus — His blood paid the price for our sin (Romans 5:8).
• White (Grip): Reminds us of forgiveness — made clean and new through Christ (Isaiah 1:18).
• Blue (Limbs): Symbolizes baptism and obedience — choosing to follow God’s direction (Acts 2:38).
• Green (Cam): Represents growth — learning to live more like Christ each day (2 Peter 3:18).
• Gold (Wheel): Points to heaven — our eternal home with God (Revelation 21:21).
• String: Represents God’s Word and the Holy Spirit — the power and guidance to live on target.

Thankful for the time spent with these archers and looking forward to the next round in a couple of weeks.

Sign-ups for our next session will open soon. An update with registration info will be posted ASAP for anyone interested in joining us!

Week 2 was yet another great day of casting a line in the water!

Over the past two weeks, many students fished for the very first time, caught their first fish, and learned so much about one of my favorite hobbies in the outdoors.

We also talked about how — just like we need a family member or friend to help us learn to fish — it’s even more important to have someone mentoring and guiding us through life.

So thankful for the opportunity to partner with Fire Pit Ranch to serve Anderson Mill Elementary School Fishing Club and help make these moments possible!

What an honor it was to serve at FCA All Abilities Camp as an archery coach!

Clancy and I had an absolute blast along with the buddies and wofford football team volunteers helping so many amazing athletes shoot a bow for the very first time. The smiles, the laughter, and the pure joy was a reminder that every person is fearfully and wonderfully made!

There were so many wins over the past two days, but the biggest one for me was the blessing of serving such an incredible group of friends. Their energy, excitement, and love were contagious—and a beautiful reflection of how Jesus sees each of us.

We’re already looking forward to doing it all again next year! Thankful to be a part of a team that creates a space for EVERY!

Archery Camp Wrap-Up – Days 2 & 3

What an incredible finish to our three-day Archery Camp! Over the past two days, campers continued to grow in both skill and confidence. It was awesome to see beginners making huge strides and more advanced students sharpening their technique and hitting tighter groupings.

In our Bible studies, we explored two powerful truths:

Day 2 – Sin Separates Us:
We talked about how missing the mark in archery reminds us of how sin causes us to fall short of God’s perfect standard. But even in our brokenness, God doesn’t leave us stuck.

Day 3 – Christ Died for Us:
We wrapped up with the good news that Jesus stepped in to take the penalty for our sin. Through His sacrifice, we can be forgiven and have a restored relationship with God.

It’s been an amazing couple of days of archery, truth, and community. We’re so thankful for each archer who joined us, and we’re already looking forward to upcoming team practices and shooting events this fall.

Stay tuned—we’re just getting started. Mark Beheler

We kicked off our first day of Archery Camp with an incredible group of campers, eager to learn and have fun. Today was all about getting the basics down—from proper stance and safety to taking our first shots on the range. We even wrapped up the evening with some fun archery games that brought out everyone’s competitive (and silly) side.

Our Bible study focused on this powerful truth: God Loves You.
We looked at Jeremiah 31:3 and were reminded that God created each of us on purpose and loves us with an everlasting love. Just like a bow is carefully crafted for a purpose, so are we.

We can’t wait for tomorrow as we keep growing in skill, faith, and fun! The View Centershot Ministry Mark Beheler

What an incredible night! Our Wild Game Dinner was packed with awesome food, great people, and an encouraging message from Glenn Chappelear. He really challenged us to think about how we can give ministry away — to pour into others and help them grow in their faith too.

Big shoutout to all the volunteers who helped make it happen — from the kitchen crew to the setup team, greeters, and everyone behind the scenes. We seriously couldn’t have done it without you!

Thanks to everyone who came out. Let’s keep the conversations going and keep looking for ways to live out what we heard!

Check out our June Archery camp for 4th - 12th graders, and our Labor Day camp for jr high and high school students!!

We recently wrapped up our four-week workshop program with First Baptist Spartanburg’s children’s ministry. Twenty kids participated—many of whom had never picked up a bow before. Throughout the workshop, they learned the fundamentals of shooting safety and technique. They discovered the rewards of stepping outside their comfort zones. More importantly, just like in archery, growth in their faith requires commitment and intentionality!
