Hi everyone! As the end of the year approaches, I’ve had some difficult decisions to make. Unfortunately 2023 was not kind to me and threw some life events at me that were really difficult for me to recover from mentally… and honestly, I’m still working on it. Between that and the expenses of running a nonprofit (which- I guess due to the current economic status- has become increasingly expensive between insurance prices rising, IRS fees, and the website and email fees of the company I was using went through the roof!) Tenacity Strength and Independence will no longer be a nonprofit. I will still serve my current clients and share the resources I have because I really do have a passion for helping those with different abilities as well as helping those who are caregivers of those with special needs.
All of that being said, though the circumstances were unfortunate, I feel for the first time I know what I want to do with my life and unfortunately when that happens is not up to me. But when it does, I want to be able to put 100% into it.
Everyone’s support in this mission has meant the absolute world to me and I hope you continue to follow along, because like I said, this isn’t goodbye! I am so happy to still be able to serve this community in some capacity- even if it isn’t what I imagined it would be last year.
A good friend put it to me this way, “We’re all just walking each other home.” 🤍
Again, thank you all so much. If you ever need help or resources serving someone that is differently abled, I hope you know you can come to me.
And, as always, remember to live tenacious!
